Falling asleep with your OB text gives you weird dreams

Really it does. I dreamt about vaginal deliveries and doing cervical checks. Very weird.
I cant wait to start school. Im so nervous and excited. I cant wait to get my hands dirty!! I love clinicals!
I heard that I got assigned a really hard Clinical instructor. She failed two people last quarter. She is known for having high expectations, but Im ok with that! I love it when the instructors are strict!

Girl I can SOOO feel your excitement! I am so psyched about starting in Spring, it’s the wait that’s killing me, once I finish these last few pre-nursing classes to get into clinicals I’ll just about be on cloud nine
)
I certainly hope that your Clinical instructor isn’t too hard on you, but then again you’ll be able to achieve those high expectations with no problems!

hi! Just found your blog. I recently applied to an accelerated BSN program (second degree) and wanted to read blogs about nursing school….it sounds incredibly intense and emotionally draining!! I’m excited, though, I hope I get accepted.
I totally agree with your OB text and weird dreams observation. I worked as a medical assistant in an ob/gyn office for 6 years, and aside from the fact that ANY ob/gyn issue seems like normal dinner conversation to me, i used to have nightmares about messing up specimens, paps, etc, lol.

The stricter, the better, IMHO. As long as she’s fair and consistent. You’ll have to earn your grade.
