Fibroid fun

I have a fibroid. Here is a little fibroid education in case you were wondering….
A fibroid is defined as a non-cancerous tumor that originates in the smooth muscle layer and connective tissue of the uterus.
Mine is relatively small. Should not pose any problems, however I am going to have to have routine Ultrasounds every 6 months to make sure that nothing is growing.
Anyone else have any experience with these?

Yes, I was bleeding off and on for about 6 months and went through tons of tests and at the time was found to have one fibroid the doctor said was the size of a marble. I know they cause a lot of cramping and heavier bleeding. This doctor, who I didn’t like, decided to do nothing when the bleeding stopped. That was back in March. This guy is doing nothing follow up and so far the only problem I have is when I am on my period.

Is that a goat head? Have you been watching Dragnet again? What did you do with the other eye?

My sister has several fibroids, and has had two successful pregnancies. Baby #2 was just born on 8/5/09.
