While we were in California on Vacation (on one of my many mini vacations) we went to Old Towne San DIego and walked around and saw the sights. It also happened to be right before the Day of the Dead celebration so there were alot of decorations up for that special event! So interesting, and very fun!
My new friend
My amazing hubby surprised me with this beauty as a back to school gift!
Im becoming a huge Coach bag fan!
New years resolution
Typically I dont write resolutions but this year I feel there is one in particular that I have a burning desire to achieve.
This year my resolution is to become a better wife to my husband, to learn new ways to love him, and to pick my battles more carefully.
2009 was an amazing year for us as both friends and as a couple. We had some trying times bit mostly we laughed and loved the year away.
2009 was awesome but my resolution is to make 2010 even better!
Leaving in baby red
I wish I had taken a picture of how full we managed to get our little car, we are packed all the way to the brim! I dont think that my MIL (Mother-in-law) could have sent us with any more wonderful stuff! We have a cooler full of curtido, pupusas, and cola champagne. Its fabulous!
Now its time to start the long drive home. The very long drive home.
Im not ready to say goodbye, evidenced by the fact that it is almost 3pm and we still havent started driving. Pray for good weather for us please!
Merry Christmas!
We are spending Christmas at Disneyland with my amazing Mother-in-law and one of the Tia’s!
Pictures to follow!
Hope everyone is having a great Christmas day with family!
Almost have my land legs back….
After spending 11 days at sea and loving the waves rolling back and forth, I am having some difficulty re-integrating into the regular land.
The Hubby swears that I will get my land legs back soon, I cant wait!
The cruise was so much fun, and if it werent for the BIG MOVE coming up then we would have booked another one. I strongly suggest a cruise, strongly!
This was on the beach at Cabo San Lucas….I miss it already!
Cruise day eight- Puerto Vallarta
I want to come back to Puerto Vallarta! It was a wonderful place to visit!
We went on a tour of the city that included a traditional Mexican Fiesta. It was wonderful to watch the dancing and we even ate some pretty fantastic food!
There were a couple of vendors on the fiesta site, the site was actually this wonderful family owned Tequila distilory. And the vendors included the usual crafts, some artists, and a man who was making handrolled cigars. It was very cool.
The tour was incredibly educational and we learned a ton about Tequila.
We walked around the city and grabbed a snack and a drink at Senor Frogs before hopping into a cab and heading back to the ship.
What a fantastic last port, and we still have two days left at sea!
Cruise day five-at sea
Oh my god! What a great day of relaxing.
Today we got up around 8:30am and took a leisurely stroll, ate breakfast while watching the ocean and then headed up to the top deck to play a round of mini golf.
We spent the rest of the day dividing our time between the pools, jacuuzi, and napping.
Tomorrow we are in Acalpuco so we are turning in early to get ready for the day.
Happy One year!

One year of laughter with my best friend...

One year of kisses from the love of my life....

One wonderful year together.....
I love you honey…Thank you for the best first year ever!!
My introduction and yours!!
My life started again almost one year ago. I became myself again. I could breathe again. Things made a turn for the better. And so I thought that I would take the chance to introduce myself to my newer readers (and please feel free to respond with a link! I will come visit!!)
I am Tiffany! (Waving to the crowd!). I am second year Nursing student pursuing my ADN. I hope to continue my education to get my BSN shortly after graduation. My goals are widespread, I like to be kept busy and I get bored quickly. I would love to work in OB/L&D or in the NICU/PICU or in the ED (like I said, I want to do everything!!)
I am married to the most amazing man (HI Honey!!). He is a member of the US Navy, the worlds greatest Navy and is currently deployed to Iraq and will be returning (hopefully) late this year. He has an amazing son (BigBoy C) and I cant wait to get to know him more.
The two of us are in love with adventure! Whether it is exploring places around the Sound, or around in different states. We tend to act on planned spontaneity and will plan impromptu trips while sitting at dinner. Together we have been able to visit Washington (we live here), Oregon, Idaho and Nevada. There is always a place to explore, and we aim to see it all! (So if you have some suggestions of great places, send them my way!!)
We have two fur-babies, Harley and Giada. Our oldest of the four-leggeds, Meyah, passed away in Mid June from complications of Diabetes.
I am looking forward to having some people delurk and send me links to their blogs! I would love to know who all is reading, so if you are reading this….take a second and say “hi”!!
My flowers…
As I mentioned, my love sent me lillies! I absolutely love lillies!!
Serenity

Now let me set the scene… Hubby and I took a spontaneous road trip along the water late in the evening. With starbucks coffee in hand we strolled along the beach.
I miss him.
Have I told you lately that I love you?
My hubby is kidnapping me…we are heading to the beach for the weekend!!

Just because we love roadtripping!! Doesnt he look excited?!

Im trying not to be a passenger seat driver!
I will be posting more pics!
Luckiest girl in the world
It never ceases to amaze me at how wonderful my husband is. I mentioned in a long and whining post about my miserable moment from the other day, well I of course told him about it. And what did he say….
“Ive got your back, I love you, Im in this with you”
Isnt that the sweetest thing? I cried. And then I stopped and thanked God for my wonderful Hubby, and then I cried again.
Gosh I miss him so much……how much longer until its December?
My First Mothers Day
These were delivered to me yesterday from my wonderful Hubby. 3 dozen of the most beautiful and aromatic flowers I have ever seen!
Happy Mothers Day everyone!
