While we were in California on Vacation (on one of my many mini vacations) we went to Old Towne San DIego and walked around and saw the sights. It also happened to be right before the Day of the Dead celebration so there were alot of decorations up for that special event! So interesting, and very fun!
Typically I dont write resolutions but this year I feel there is one in particular that I have a burning desire to achieve.
This year my resolution is to become a better wife to my husband, to learn new ways to love him, and to pick my battles more carefully.
2009 was an amazing year for us as both friends and as a couple. We had some trying times bit mostly we laughed and loved the year away.
2009 was awesome but my resolution is to make 2010 even better!
At my yearly physical my doctor decided to run a bunch of labs, most of them just standard, but others just to see.
The break down:
Glucose- Fantastic (despite my attempts at killing my fasting levels by having a sweetened Ice tea!)
Vitamin B12- Deficient (AH HA!)
So what is vitamin B12 deficiency? B12 is used in the body to make red blood cells, and can make you feel weak and tired. Vitamin B12 is naturally found in animal products like milk, cheese and eggs. I eat none of those. Eggs kinda gross me out, Milk makes me sick, and cheese is kinda disgusting too. As such I am now deficient and have been forced to add the vitamins into my diet.
But what a revelation!
I wish I had taken a picture of how full we managed to get our little car, we are packed all the way to the brim! I dont think that my MIL (Mother-in-law) could have sent us with any more wonderful stuff! We have a cooler full of curtido, pupusas, and cola champagne. Its fabulous!
Now its time to start the long drive home. The very long drive home.
Im not ready to say goodbye, evidenced by the fact that it is almost 3pm and we still havent started driving. Pray for good weather for us please!
After spending 11 days at sea and loving the waves rolling back and forth, I am having some difficulty re-integrating into the regular land.
The Hubby swears that I will get my land legs back soon, I cant wait!
The cruise was so much fun, and if it werent for the BIG MOVE coming up then we would have booked another one. I strongly suggest a cruise, strongly!
This was on the beach at Cabo San Lucas….I miss it already!

I turned 25 on Friday, and I got the best present ever…..
It never ceases to amaze me at how wonderful my husband is. I mentioned in a long and whining post about my miserable moment from the other day, well I of course told him about it. And what did he say….
“Ive got your back, I love you, Im in this with you”
Isnt that the sweetest thing? I cried. And then I stopped and thanked God for my wonderful Hubby, and then I cried again.
Gosh I miss him so much……how much longer until its December?
I told you that I would share my ED experience, but as I sit here to type it I realize that it is not nearly as exciting as I thought it was.
In short, I had the worst headache of my life. Checked into the ED because I couldnt see out of my left eye. They tried Torodol IV, and it didnt help. They gave me two doses of Dilaudid IV and although it did help the headache a little, mostly it just knocked me out.
12 hours later my headache is back…..I think its stress……
Have a horrible migraine and have spent the entire day waking up only to drink fluid and take more medication.
I will write about my ED experience when i come back to the land of the living.
